This is a gorgeous dish. It's so easy, but it looks like something served in a high class restaurant, because that's exactly what it is. I can't recall where I ate it the first time, but I remember it being so fancy. I knew immediately I had to make it. This dish is one that will turn your kids into brussel sprout lovers.
Fry bacon in a large skillet over medium heat for 6–8 min until bacon begins to brown but is still a bit "bendy."
Trim a thin line off the stem ends of your sprouts, and peel away any loose or yellowing leaves. Then shred in a food processor.
Add shredded sprouts and salt, then stir into bacon renderings, turn heat to medium high.
Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring twice to allow the sprouts to caramelize slightly.
Taste after first stir to determine if more salt is needed.
When sprouts have become more translucent and flimsy remove and serve.
