Jalapeño Popper Chicken Casserole

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375ºF.
  2. In a large skillet over medium, cook the chopped bacon until crisp. Remove to a plate and remove all but 1 tbsp of the grease.
  3. Add chicken to the skillet and cook until nicely browned. Remove from heat and transfer into baking dish(es).
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream cheese, whipping cream, and garlic. Spread over the chicken in the dish.
  5. Sprinkle with the jalapeno and cheddar cheese, then sprinkle with the chopped bacon. Bake about 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the chicken is cooked through.

Reheat from Frozen

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Cover loosely with foil and bake 45–50 minutes
  3. Remove foil for last 5–10 minutes if you want bubbling/browning
  4. Rest 5 minutes before serving
  5. Done when center is hot, sauce is smooth and creamy, and internal temp ≥ 165°F
