Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Place pears halves, cut side down, into hot (preferably iron) skillet
  2. Allow to cook until cooking side starts looking brown
  3. Add butter, and as it melts coat the bottom of the pear in it
  4. Sprinkle ginger and sugar into the remaining butter and brush the tops of the pears
  5. Place in oven at 375 (f) and cook until tender (about 15 minutes)
